Warehouse Associate
KC Trans Parts is seeking an outgoing, high-energy, HEAVY LIFTING, and multi-tasking individual to become part of our TEAM.
Warehouse Associate, this position will be a jack-of-all-trades type of person that is responsible for many daily tasks and projects. The main tasks for this individual will be to help lift, pick, and put away heavier items in our product line. This person will also be helping with daily end of day shipping responsibilities, inventory control, picking and pulling orders. They may also be helping out at the counter or phone during busy periods, to assisting ownership team in product and market growth. Opportunity and Growth with our growing company is unlimited!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to take and make regular inventory
- Maintains the accuracy of the physical inventory
- Receiving of parts
- Purchasing/replenishment of parts
- Prepare periodic inventory reports
- Maintain adequate volume of parts
- Assist Management with creating inventory standard operating procedures
- Picking and Pulling product
- Shipping and Logistics
- Solve problems
- Help/Assist counter and phones during busy periods
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,& ABILITIES
- Not afraid of hard work
- Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
- Must have the ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must have strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Auto Parts Experience is also a plus, but not required
