Precision of New Hampton is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Automation Specialist (Torque Converter Design) to join our team and work close with the Owners and Production Teams.

Key Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE... Torque Converter Design: Expertise in designing or optimizing torque converters for automotive or industrial systems.
• MUST be a US Citizen or already have US Work Visa/Green Card
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving with hands-on mechanical experience.
• G-Code & Ladder Logic: Proficient in CNC programming (G-code) and PLC programming (ladder logic).
• AI Proficiency: Experience applying AI tools in industrial or mechanical contexts.
• Metallurgy Knowledge: Understanding of material properties and applications.
• Torque Converter Design: Expertise in designing or optimizing torque converters for automotive or industrial systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize torque converters for performance and efficiency.
• Program and troubleshoot automated systems using G-code and ladder logic.
• Apply AI to enhance manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Collaborate on mechanical design and material analysis.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise in G-code, ladder logic, AI, metallurgy, and torque converter design.
