Mechanical Engineer / Automation Specialist (Torque Converter Design)

Precision of New Hampton is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Automation Specialist (Torque Converter Design) to join our team and work close with the Owners and Production Teams.
Key Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE... Torque Converter Design: Expertise in designing or optimizing torque converters for automotive or industrial systems.
- MUST be a US Citizen or already have US Work Visa/Green Card
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving with hands-on mechanical experience.
- G-Code & Ladder Logic: Proficient in CNC programming (G-code) and PLC programming (ladder logic).
- AI Proficiency: Experience applying AI tools in industrial or mechanical contexts.
- Metallurgy Knowledge: Understanding of material properties and applications.
- Torque Converter Design: Expertise in designing or optimizing torque converters for automotive or industrial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize torque converters for performance and efficiency.
- Program and troubleshoot automated systems using G-code and ladder logic.
- Apply AI to enhance manufacturing processes and material selection.
- Collaborate on mechanical design and material analysis.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in G-code, ladder logic, AI, metallurgy, and torque converter design.
